We study the interactions between hydrological alterations and floodplain ecosystems in the Mekong River Basin.

Application of the FOR-POWER framework in the Tonle Sap watershed. Funded by MacArthur Foundation (2016-2018)
Economic, social, and environmental drivers of rural migration in the Lower Mekong River Basin of Cambodia (2018-2020). Collaboration with the University of Chicago.

Ongoing research in the Amazon looks at the interplay between climate, deforestation and hydropower.
Effects of climate change and deforestation on water resources and hydropower in the Tapajos.
Current research at home looks at monitoring the role of urban water management in sediments and microplastics, and designer flows for water quality improvement in Lake Okeechobee.
