Mekong River basin in south east Asia

We study the interactions between hydrological alterations and floodplain ecosystems in the Mekong River Basin.

Current projects:

  • Application of the FOR-POWER framework in the Tonle Sap watershed. Funded by MacArthur Foundation (2016-2018)

  • Economic, social, and environmental drivers of rural migration in the Lower Mekong River Basin of Cambodia (2018-2020).

Ongoing research in the Amazon looks at the interplay between climate, deforestation and hydropower.
